Odor

Generally speaking, the better the quality of the adhesive, the lighter the acidity. The worse the quality of the adhesive, the stronger the acidity (due to the added acetic acid component). At the same time, the odor of the good quality adhesive disappears quickly during the curing process, while the acidity of the poor quality adhesive evaporates for a much longer time.

Except for neutral glass glue, neutral glass glue has no acidity and cannot be judged by acidity.

Glossiness

High quality adhesive has a strong gloss after curing, while some low-quality adhesives lose their luster when applied.

Particle

High quality glass glue is delicate and even. After curing, the adhesive strip is flat and smooth. Poor quality glass adhesive, visible as inferior and debris, with an uneven and unsmooth surface after curing.

Bubbles

High quality glass adhesive, containing 100% silicone, with minimal air bubbles during application. Poor quality glass glue, containing various additives, usually has bubbles during gluing.

Soft hardness after curing

After construction, and after the curing is completed (the curing time should also be specified by the manufacturer), touch the adhesive with your hand to test its hardness and elasticity. Adhesive that is too hard or too soft is not considered good.

High quality adhesive has extremely strong tensile strength, large stretching amplitude, and strong peel resistance, while low-quality adhesive has the opposite effect.
